I admit...there are days when i totally wish i was going out with someone. But in retrospect, i am sort of glad being single. Seriously, life isn't the same when you are attached to someone.
(1) Spontaneity, freedom, flexibility. THese are some of the best things about being single. You don't have to care about what the other half thinks of you when you wana do something. You just fo it.
(2) Guy friendz...many have opinions on the age-old question: Can men and women be "just friends"? In my own life, I've found the answer to be yes. And i'm really glad, too. Becoz w/o cool guy friends, the lack of a husband or a boyfriend could seem even more pronounced.
(3) Time alone....is something that i'll treasure foreva and eva amen! What could have been the most lonely times of my life actually turned out to be one of the most rewarding time. During times when i'm alone, i would pray out loud, sing out loud or read a good book w/o being interrupted. There was a richness to this time in my life i wouldn't trade for anything - even the days when the relative silence did actually turn into loneliness.
I'm sure there are other reasons why being single is good. But here are three which i think are on the top of my list. Have fun being single. One can only be single once. Seriously, think about it.

being single opens up opportunities and increases your independence.. but you really miss having someone there to care and love you..

It's sort of inevitable though that we will meet someone, or that even though we are single it is just a temporary set back. I haven't met anyone that says "Well I'm currently in a relationship but I hope to be single for the rest of my life"
So if you are single make the most of it and learn about yourself.

i've been in a realationship for 2 years and my bf just cheated on me and dumped me out of the blue.
i'm really hurt ...
