A question that many of us ask ourselves: HOW LONG MORE DO I HAVE TO WAIT BEFORE I FALL IN LOVE? Be honest, i'm sure if you've been dateless for the pass 8months that question keeps lingering at the back of your mind. I do. I mean, i'm only 20 and i'm asking myself that question.
It's funny how there are days where i love being single and free from being attached to another. But there are days where i soul-search myself and ask myself, what's wrong with me? Are my standards that high or am i that not worth being pursued? The waiting for that day where the heavens give you the green light to fall in love with the person you want to fall in love with. How long more??
A friend of mine has been trying her best to get over her crush that has been going on for 2years. Just becoz he isn't really into a relationship any time soon, she decided to just cut him some slack and try and move on with life. Recently, she bumps into this nice young guy. Gentle, very pleasant and attractive. And so she thinks: he looks like a nice catch, be friends and hopefully something will happen. He gives her a very very subtle signals and so she thinks again: cool, there might be a chance. And after seeing him for the third time, she realises that he is attached to this lady, who looks so much older than he is and isn't that compatible, according to her at least. And she says: "I seriously am loosing it. I can't trust my intuition anymore."
So for the rest of us, whose hope is still up and the sun is always shinning, how long do we have to wait?
