Durex to Release Orgasm Gel
August 5th 2008 23:11
Apparently, the female orgasm lasts around 28 seconds, and for some it can last up to 117 seconds. However, just 39% of women claim they always achieve an orgasm while 17% never do and find it easier to fake it.
Soon though long intense orgasms may be a realty for all women thanks to a new orgasm gel called Play O made by Durex. Created by women for women the gel contains of L'Arginine, an amino acid that increases blood flow, plus two cooling agents that feel tingly when applied. According to research, 91% of women noticed a new sensation after applying the gel.
The gel is currently available in France, and will be launched in the UK in September 2008. I am not sure when (or if) it will be made available in Australia.

The mind is more important that this trivial pursuit, and I have never had to fake it, or even consider it in my life.
Wowser I may be, and proud of it, but my hormones surely have worked well for me, which is the norm and learning some more about female and male anatomy and getting it together should fix any such deficiencies.
Wowser does not mean, does not like sex, far from it.
The young generation, thinking they have invented sex have surely led themselves up a gum tree with the ultimate losers being women.
Sorry to spoil your fun, but faking it does not sound like these women are having any.

Anyway, I can see the benefit of a gel like this... women that have trouble achieving orgasm might have more success if they'd stop focusing on it as an ultimate goal? I know the same thing applies to men. Well, to some of us, anyway.

On the other hand there are women that struggle regardless and then there are women that just may just want to intensify their experience so I think there is a place in the market for such a gel.

I never thought about the psychological aspect of the gel, but may be you are right just having the gel maybe enough to relax someone and take their mind off whether or not they will achieve an orgasm.

Of course, there would also be those who would just use it for loooong play...

The psychological aspect is a huge factor, I think. Have you ever seen "Shortbus"? In it, there's a sex therapist who has never had an orgasm, with her partner or by herself - not for want of trying. The movie suggests that her obsession with trying so hard to have one is what prevents her from success...
